Hashdex Looks to Broaden U.S. Crypto ETF with Litecoin, XRP, and Other Assets

Crypto asset manager Hashdex has submitted an amendment to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to include litecoin (LTC) and XRP, along with other cryptocurrencies, in its Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF.

The proposal also mentions cardano’s ADA, solana’s SOL, as well as other altcoins like LINK, AVAX, and UNI. The fund currently consists mostly of bitcoin (BTC) with some exposure to ether (ETH), as stated on Hashdex’s website.

Another version of the fund, which trades on the Bermuda Stock Exchange, the Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index ETF, already provides exposure to a wider range of cryptocurrencies. The Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index US ETF aims to track a diversified portfolio of digital assets, giving investors regulated access to the crypto market.
