Ethena’s $200M Allocation Pushes BlackRock’s Tokenized Fund BUIDL Past $1B

Securitize announced that BlackRock’s BUIDL token, in collaboration with them and backed by U.S. Treasuries, has surpassed $1 billion in assets. The fund received a significant boost today with a $200 million investment from crypto protocol Ethena, according to a Securitize spokesperson. Data from Arkham Intelligence on the Ethereum blockchain shows that $200 million worth of BUIDL tokens were minted by an entity at 18:47 UTC on Thursday.
